Quickly attach the included Easy-Ride Pedal Kit and watch your child seamlessly transition to riding a pedal bike and accomplish this life-changing milestone! Refined through years of prototypes and tested by eager 3- to 7-year-olds, the 14x is truly the next evolution of Strider Balance Bikes. The Strider 14x has been designed to grow with your child (fits inseams of 40-58 cm [16-23 in]), and the included Learn-To-Ride material puts you in control of the best process available for teaching your child to ride. - The adjustable handlebars allow the bike to always fit your child properly. Designed for 3- to 7-year-olds, these handlebars are easy to grip and provide expert steering control. - The 3rd generation headset bushing is specifically engineered to be lightweight and durable. The Strider 14x features a long seat-adjustment range for growing children. - With a weight of only 5.7 kg (12.5 lbs) while it’s in balance bike mode, the Strider 14x is light enough for your little one to take anywhere. The unique traction pattern makes it easy for kids to confidently and comfortably stand on the footrest. - The Stride Around Pedals are specially designed to serve two purposes. First, they fit a child's foot. Not only that, but it keeps the chain and gears clean from any mud or gunk that might be part of the adventure. - The included Easy Ride Pedal Kit is equipped a foot-actuated rear coaster brake. This brake is CPSC certified to the highest safety standards required by law, allowing children to be in complete stopping control.
Surly Straggler
$1,650.00
So what is this Straggler anyway? The easy answer is to say that Surly added disc brakes to a Cross-Check and this is close to accurate. People have asked them to make a disc version of their highly versatile Cross-Check for a long time now and almost everything about the two are very similar. Straggler is slightly different, though. The most obvious difference of course is that the Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It'll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They're a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing. Straggler shares all of the Cross-Check's braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The Straggler's geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it's ready to take you just about anywhere. It's a day tripper and a weekender. It's a 'rough road' road bike. It's a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It's a utilitarian townie. It's a light-duty touring bike. It's an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. We think that's pretty neat. - Fender eyelets at the dropouts, front and rear rack bosses and dual water bottle mounts, downtube shifter mounts - 100% Surly proprietary 4130 chromoly tubing. TIG-welded, double-butted main triangle - Forward-exiting horizontal dropouts with adjusters give you singlespeed compatibility and wheelbase adjustability to help you fit the tires and fenders you want to run with that drivetrain you want to run. - Frame is ED Coated for increased life expectancy
Surly ECR 29+
$1,900.00
The ECR is Surly's answer to those times when you just need to escape to the woods for a while to get away from the humdrum of life. Those familiar with this steel mule know it’s designed around plus tires, previously of the 29” variety. A fully loaded 29+ bike is an excellent way to explore and get away for a while… if you’re of a certain stature that is. For smaller riders, it poses several challenges though. And no one wants new problems when they’re in the woods trying to escape old ones. To solve this, Surly redesigned the smaller sizes of the ECR to work with 27.5+ while the larger sizes are still equipped with 29+. All you medium specimens out there get your pick of the litter as Surly is offering that size in both options. Other updates to the ECR include and are limited to: Gnot-Boost rear spacing and a killer new beige paint job. It retains the abundant accessory mounts that we all know and love like Surly Trip Guide for brakes and derailleurs, fender, rack, and Bill/Ted eyelets, and a Rohloff torque arm slot. The 29+ sizes have two water bottle mounts and one set of Three-Pack bosses. You’ve got lots of options to bring all your “necessities” with you and still have room for excess baggage if you’ve got it.

Specialized Girl's Hotwalk
$175.00
If we're being honest with ourselves, learning to ride, back in the day, bordered on a traumatic event. The crashes, oh the crashes. These days, however, kids have it easy with awesome little bikes like our Girl's Hotwalk. With no pedals or gears, it's designed to help your little princess find her balance by making it as easy as possible to put her feet down. In fact, scooting around with her feet is how the bike moves (outside of gravity), so she'll get used to the feeling of riding without much of the risk. Even better for you, there isn't much that can break should the bike hit the deck on the pump track, so there's less maintenance then with a "traditional" bike. That's right, you get parental hero status, and they have the time of their lives while learning to ride. Win-win. - Durable and tough, the A1 Premium Aluminum walking frame is designed specifically for little ones to scoot around safely. - The 12-inch alloy wheels are not only light, but durable enough to take plenty of abuse. - The Rhythm Lite Sport tires are heavy-duty, and allow your little princess to scoot around on- and off-road.
Surly Disc Trucker
$1,550.00
Surly's Long Haul Trucker enjoys a reputation as one of the best riding and most value-packed touring bikes out there. It's been around long enough to be tested in the real world, in all kinds of places, with all kinds of loads on all kinds of roads. Sometimes, however, a combination of load, climate and terrain demands a bit more braking performance than a standard rim-brake LHT can provide. That's where the Disc Trucker comes in. Disc Trucker is a Long Haul Trucker specifically designed for the unique forces discs impose. Surly made sure it can run discs, racks, and fenders with no jury rigging, a somewhat unique feature they've just now decided to call Simulpatibility. Most of the components on the complete bike are the same as the standard LHT; parts chosen for their balance of technical capability, durability, and value. The drivetrain uses the sort of wide gearing you will need for loaded and unloaded travel, cable operated disc brakes for their proven reliability and ease of service, and hubs that are durable and easy to maintain. You'll need to outfit it with the extras you want, like fenders and racks. Surly doesn't include that stuff because everybody's needs are different. From the casual commuter to the person who rides around the world more than once, the Disc Trucker is more than capable. It's a tool designed from the ground up to take you and a bunch of stuff just about anywhere you'd like to go. It is a tool to help you get lost and find yourself.
