“This bike has it all.” “How can it get any better?” “I’m speechless. It’s perfect.” It’s not uncommon to hear people talk about the Rove LTD in similar terms. Simply put, there’s nothing left out of this thoughtfully spec’d bike. Reynolds 853 steel is the chassis for SRAM Force 1 components, our full carbon flat mount CX race disc fork, and WTB ASYM i23 wheels.
Once upon a time a bunch of mountain bikers dreamed up something wild: a drop bar bike that felt like a mountain bike and rode like a mountain bike. It was made of steel for that added bump absorption, had powerful SRAM Rival 1 hydraulic disc brakes and 1x drivetrain. It had a wider bar with a 16-degree flare that made for more aggressive descending. The Sutra LTD came to reality in all of its dreamy glory and is an absolute riot on-road or off.
Remember that feeling of finally understanding how good a proper mountain bike felt? With the Process 24, that feeling can come at a super young age. We’ve designed the Process 24 with similar geometric characteristics as our full-size bikes in order to make it incredibly fun on the trails. 100mm of front and rear suspension is custom tuned for lighter riders. Powered by a Shimano Deore 10 speed drivetrain, the Process 24 is ready to get rowdy!
The Super Jake takes our renowned Cyclocross platform to an elite level and is the weapon of choice for world-class pro CX racer Kerry Werner. Fully equipped to race in World Cup level events or to endure all day epics on gravel, the Super Jake is ready for super-powered finishes.
What happens when you put a mountain bike, road bike, and touring bike in a blender and hit go? The Sutra. Call it the drop bar bike for mountain bikers, or the beast that is up to all burdens, but the Sutra is definitely one thing: bad ass. 700c wheels make it fast rolling. Beefier tires make rough terrain disappear, and there’s just something really special about the feel of a steel frame in motion. The Sutra LTD offers style, an incredible ride, and amazing handling in one gorgeous package.
We had fun designing the Rove NRB DL. With homage to its steel cousin, the NRB has creative geometry to allow for bigger tire clearance, and custom dropouts that are easily used with fenders. Size XS comes with smaller 40c tires. Nicely dressed with a Shimano 105 2x11 drivetrain, a carbon fork, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, the NRB DL is a unique bike that is ready for anything.
The Sutra is many things. It’s gorgeous. It’s stylish. It’s incredibly versatile, and it comes ready for the long haul. Our Kona Cromoly steel frame is outfitted by a Brooks saddle, cork bar tape, BarCon shifters, a Shimano Deore 3x9 drivetrain to give you maximum gearing, and smooth-rolling 700c WTB wheels. It’s quite the looker right out of the box, and it’s ready for your biggest adventure. What more could you want?
The intention is in the name, as the Rove is the perfect bike to use as a wandering companion. Our most traditional drop bar offering, the Rove is willing to go the distance whether on pavement, dirt, or even gravel. Outfitted with Hayes mechanical disc brakes, and a wide range of gearing, the Rove is an affordable, road-ready steed.
Sometimes we hit a crossroads where the pavement ends, and the dirt begins. Enter the Rove NRB. 650b wheels, a carbon flat mount disc fork, and mechanical disc brakes mean that transition from pavement to dirt is seamless. Couple those features with a SRAM Apex 1x drivetrain, and the Rove NRB is begging to take you away from your traditional route and into territories unexplored.
When the ride requires speed, it’s important to pay attention to the little details. Fenders for bad weather and 9 speed gearing provide the comfort and range needed to access any kind of road in any kind of weather. The Rove DL is the answer to your road needs no matter when and where you ride.
Wherever you may Rove … is the perfect place to be. On-road, off-road, gravel, touring, bikepacking - the Rove is the bike of all drop bar trades. For those that have a love affair with steel, the Rove ST will slide rightfully near the top of your “next to buy” list. The Rove ST runs on 650b wheels and tires for any-road capability you can fine-tune to your heart's desire.
Multiple Bike-of-the-Year awards speak for themselves. The Ute is a well-designed, carry-everything utility bike that makes quick work of trips to the store, dropping the kids off at school and bringing the tree home for the holidays. We didn’t need any awards to tell us how rad this bike is, but it’s nice to see that other people get it.

Kona’s Big Honzo DL takes the playful, slack geometry Honzo uses to light up singletrack, and ups the ante with bigger rubber and bigger fun. With 27.5 x 2.8 Maxxis Rekon tires wrapped around WTB’s Scraper rims, your footprint opens up like a sled-dog’s paw, aggressively clawing earth and floating over terrain with ease. Kona really wants you to use ALL that extra traction, so they hook you up with a stiff, nimble aluminum frame that squeezes speed out of descents and begs to be swooped through corners. A RockShox Revelation fork makes short work of technical sections and plows through chunky trails with 120mm of go-fast travel, so you can rip through the gears of your 11-speed SRAM NX/GX drivetrain. And, while we know you love to go fast, everyone eventually has to scrub some speed to nail a line. Take heart, Shimano’s got your back with a pair of burly hydraulic disc brakes that’ll slow you down in a hurry, especially with all that grip. Add the solid control offered by Kona’s durable cockpit parts with a work-and-play dropper post, and you’ve got a rig that’ll keep you grinning for hours on end.
The Honzo reimagined what a hardtail could be. We’ve taken our favorite parts of the Honzo and tweaked them to add a plusher feel. The Big Honzo is designed around 27.5+ wheels and tires and 130mm of front suspension, though it is possible to run it as a 29er, giving you more options for customization. The reinvented Big Honzo is ready for adventure!
Often imitated, but never duplicated, the Process has been at the forefront of the evolution of enduro bikes for years. The motto of the Process is to take chances…as long as it makes the ride more fun. What started as a calculated risk has turned traditional trail bike geometry on its head and has spearheaded progression. This bike is built around descending, but consistency across all terrain is what makes it truly special. The 2019 Process delivers a gravity-hungry bike that is equally adept at ascending. This is the long travel, aggressive enduro bike that you’ve been waiting for.
No compromises. That’s the premise behind the Big Honzo CR DL. A stiff carbon frame keeps the ride lively and quick. With a 130mm Rockshox Pike, rallying descents is ridiculously fun. A SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain flattens out climbs, making the Big Honzo CR DL a good time, all the time.
The Honzo DL is the bike for people that are looking to get serious about their riding. It’s pure mountain bike geometry in a sweet hardtail package. Just enough suspension to keep things moving along on the trail, but nimble, fast and easy to throw around, the Honzo is a total dream for the person looking for something playful.
The Operator is a familiar face in both the bike park and downhill racing scene. With the Rockshox Boxxer RC fork and a 200mm Rockshox Super Deluxe coil trunnion shock, the ride is plush and ready for big hits. With a SRAM drivetrain and brakes, and Maxxis tires, the Operator is a proven staple in the downhill world.
For the rider who wants to travel light and fast but is seeking something affordable, the aluminum Hei Hei reigns supreme. With a RockShox Sektor 120mm fork and a Monarch Solo Air rear shock, the ride will always be lively when needed, but plush when it matters. Coupled with a SRAM NX 1x11 drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, the Hei Hei answers all needs in a simple package.
You love the Honzo but wanted an aggressive hardtail with a bit more versatility. Enter the Big Honzo. With geometry derived from our carbon Big Honzos, the Big Honzo was designed around a 27.5+ wheel but is cross-compatible with a 29” wheel, allowing you to create your favorite configuration to get the most out of the terrain you ride the most. The Big Honzo features 130mm of Rockshox front suspension, boost spacing, a SRAM NX 1x11 speed drivetrain, a dropper post, and hydraulic disc brakes in an affordable package.
Happy Birthday to us. We’re celebrating by releasing a limited number of one of our favorite bikes, the Honzo ST. Why do we love it so much? Simply put, it just absolutely shreds. We’ve made our birthday bike special by adding a super unique mirror-finish paint job, special limited edition numbered decals (only 201 are being made!), a custom 30th birthday saddle, and a custom 30th birthday head tube badge. We’re not afraid to admit it: this bike is gorgeous. We’ve also built the bike with modular dropouts, so you can go full custom with it, or run it as we spec it, with a 120mm RockShox Revelation RC fork, SRAM NX 1x11 speed drivetrain, and SRAM Level T brakes.
You’re an informed buyer. You know exactly what you want in a bike, but you don’t want to break the bank. The Kahuna is your jam. Featuring a 1x SRAM NX drivetrain, RockShox suspension, powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, and fast-rolling, tubeless-ready WTB 29-inch rims, this bike is the complete package.
The Honzo is the bike that redefined Kona’s goal to push the limits and do something radically different. From biking to work to getting creative in the bike park, the Honzo inspires serious fun. A 120mm RockShox Recon fork, SRAM NX 11 speed drivetrain, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes equal the perfect blend of fun and fast.
Close your eyes and picture the sunshine dripping from a Copenhagen sky. Everywhere you look are stylish cyclists aboard stylish bikes. The Coco is our answer to the European cycling craze. A gorgeous step-through design allows for riding ease in any attire. Fenders keep you dry on the rainiest of days, and hydraulic disc brakes ensure you stop without any hesitation.
We had one goal with the Operator CR: win races. We’ve seen what 29-inch bikes can do on a downhill track, and the Operator CR is ready to take podiums. With two positions offering 15mm of rear wheel adjustments and 10mm of reach adjustment, it’s easier to control the feel of the bike to get the ride you want. While we spec the bike as a 29er, you are able to run 27.5-inch wheels as well. Shorter or longer, 29 or 27.5, you have the power to customize your ride. Front and rear RockShox suspension and powerful SRAM Code brakes round out this innovative and wickedly fast race machine.
The original cross country race machine, the Hei Hei was built to go fast – both up and down mountains. The Hei Hei design was focused on racing but we've always been of the mind that racing should be fun; 100mm of Fuse independent suspension rear travel paired with 120mm of squish up front create a balanced, fun and efficient ride. Fast rolling and bump-swallowing 29-inch wheels ensure fun is also at the top of the priority list. With guys like team riders Cory Wallace winning the 24 hour solo world championship, and Spencer Paxson dominating over 32,000 feet of climbing and descending in a single day aboard the Hei Hei, it’s clear that its up for any challenge.
If the world was ending and you needed one bike to rule them all, the Process would be a solid choice. It’s an awesome build at a wallet-friendly price. With 160mm of Rockshox Yari travel up front and a Deluxe RT Debonair shock in the rear, the ride is plush and smooth. Well accompanied by SRAM Guide hydraulic disc brakes, a dropper post, and SRAM’s NX drivetrain, the Process is one sweet build for the buck.
It’s nice having that one bike you can just grab and go with no worries about how it will handle on the climb or descent. We’ve built the Process 153 29 to be affordable and handle everything a trail can throw at it so you can spend more time having fun and no time worrying about your gear. This year, the frame sheds a few hundred grams of weight and features 160mm of front travel via a RockShox Yari fork, and 153mm of rear travel is provided by a Deluxe RT Debonair shock. SRAM NX 1x11 drivetrain, Guide T brakes, Maxxis tires, and a dropper post round out the build.
